19th century Chinese export tea caddy. Wooden black lacquered box decorated with figures in landscapes and scrolling foliage in gold lacquer. With two interior pewter compartments that are foliate decorated and double lidded. Octagonal shape atop four padded feet. 15 x 14 x 20 cm.
